Dr. Jeon is an academic neuro-intensivist and a professor of Neurology, Asan Medical Center, University of Ulsan College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. He earned his M.D. from Kyungpook National University (2000) and Ph.D. from the University of Ulsan (2011). He received formal training in neurology, stroke, and critical care medicine from Asan Medical Center (2000–2011). He completed his postdoctoral training at the Division of Neurocritical Care, Department of Neurology, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons (2011–2012) and the Division of Neurocritical Care, Department of Neurosurgery, Memorial Hermann Hospital, University of Texas Medical School at Houston (2012–2013). He was appointed as a faculty member of the Asan Medical Center in 2013 and serves as a director of the Neurological Intensive Care Unit and Neurological Alert Team. He became the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Neurocritical Care in March 2016 after serving as an Associate Editor for three years.
The editorial coordinator, Ms. Hye-Min Cho, has edited manuscripts of scholarly journals since 2005. In 2009, she founded InfoLumi, a manuscript editing company. As of 2020, InfoLumi provides manuscript editing and journal coordinating services to over 70 medical/scientific journals. She holds the Korea Manuscript Editors Certification and the Certificate in Medical Writing and Editing (University of Chicago, USA; 2013). She is the Chair of the Manuscript Editing Committee of the Korean Council of Science Editors.
The manuscript editor, Ms. Mi-Joo Chung, graduated from Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, Korea in 2006. She has worked at InfoLumi Co., editing for scientific journals since 2015. Ms. Chung has also worked for PMC journals including Clinical and Experimental Otorhinolaryngology.
The layout editor, Ms. Eun Mi Jeong, has worked for several PMC journals, including the Journal of Neurocritical Care, at M2PI, Korea. She has great expertise in producing PDF files.
The Website and JATS XML file producers, Mr. Yoonsang Cho and Ms. Min Young Choi, have worked for PMC and other journals at M2PI, Korea, for journal homepages, XML coding, and e-submission systems. Their high-caliber techniques in handling journals result in excellent exposure and propagation of journal contents.
