ABSTRACT
Recently, neurointervention has undergone major developments. Its development has increased its role in the treatment of hyperacute cerebral infarction and carotid stenosis. The knowledge about the device and terms for neurointervention is important to treat patients at the post-intervention state. Some complications, like cerebral hyperperfusion syndrome, could be preventable if the appropriate medication is applied before and after intervention. Here, we reviewed the recent guidelines and recent clinical trials, related to neurointervention. We also reviewed the post-intervention care and complication.
