ABSTRACT
Cerebral vasospasm causes significant mortality and morbidity in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage. The management of these patients is challenging and requires the various input of medical, neurosurgical, and endovascular treatment. However, many ‘tried and true’ methods of prophylaxis and treatment of vasospasm are not based on strong evidence. There is a need for more evaluation of both the current and future interventions.
