ABSTRACT
Background: Neuro-Behcet’s disease is a well-known chronic autoimmune disease with relapsing-remitting nature. But there has been little attention to the serial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings according to the relapsing and remitting course of the neuro- Behcet’s disease. Case Report: We describe a 58 year-old woman who had been suffered from the neuro-Behcet’s disease having four recurrent attacks and remission. Her magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and serial MRI findings showed characteristic neuroimaging findings of neuro-Behcet disease with good clinical correlations. Conclusions: The MRS and serial MRI findings of the neuro-Behcet disease can give clinically useful information about chemical components and location of pathologic lesion.
